Default The incredible transcended...monster?

I'm all in favor of Anets decision to be different among the ranks of RPG and create a lvl cap that doesn't mean the game is over. But, this has made me think as well.

See I have "beaten" the game. I only have Titan's Source left and I will have "beaten" the live update. I am ascended, so I have been viewed by the gods and have thier favor. All this and I remain level 20. All is well as it is a nifty idea. So as I approached the end of the game I began to notice monsters of increasing levels. As they should be in order to make the game more of a challenge as you go along. Then suddenly you realize, hey I'm fighting a level 24 monster. Now with the live update I look and see that I am fighting level 28 titans. So I ask myself, "If I have done all there is to do and have ascended before the gods how did these brutish monsters transcend the limitations of the gods to become more powerful than the creator allows any creature of Tyria to be?" UW and FoW you will find a similar perplexing complex.

So I wonder does being an intelligent human been more of a limitation than an advantage? Does one have to become brutish to transcend gods? There seems to be a clean break in the rules and the laws of this realm. The physics of leveling do not exist in this realm for humans but it seems monsters can power level to their hearts content. Is this injustice or simply imbalance? By golly I want to create a new character, start the game over again as the lvl 1 titan E/N...psh and ANet claimed balance in this game. We must RIOT.

You must not have noticed that some bosses are level 31 even.. Glint is the only one i can think of.

Aataxes are level 29 too.. yeah, those mindless things that just swipe and do a lot of damage.

Maybe humans can only get to level 20 (confessior dorian was only level 20 @ thunderhead).

humans can only get to level 20 due to a lack of focus (gwen is distracting us) these monsters think only of I thing (that is toast I think) and thru their focus they attain nigh god level powers the power to nerf

Just for the sake of a different opinion, lets take a look at the game through the Level 28 Titon's eyes, shall we? here is where it gets all wavy and the ripple effect runs rampant.......

Here I am a Lvl 20 Titon I have pounded on everyone and everything that has come my way and now I see a lvl 26 E/N Human and I wonder how is this possible? I have done everything, finished every mission, conquered every task, gained the favor of the Gods and have achieved every goal atainable and yet as a Lvl 20 I can go no further but It would appear that Humans can gain even more power that I can ever hope to, oh if I could just start over and be A human.......

and the ripples tell us that the sequence has ended....

The level 28 titans aren't as hard as they look. They're your friend. Just shove a damn fireball in their ass.

Actually, she does need a hug and some sensativity would be good too.

Ah yes how could I forget Glint...oh wait thats right because he died and all we ever see is his spirit at the most inopportune times.
You mention the Aataxes see what I mean, we must riot we can not allow mindless thugs to be better than us. Oh wait, we could devolve, maybe then we can become better than the gods and overthrow them. Mmwwhahaha.

...Not sure how we are bringing up anger from other threads...

OK, yeah, the other thread stays in the other thread.

Indy, perhaps you can say it's the limitations of the human body. Stone Summit? They work all day in heavy armor, and the bosses have that crystalline glowy power. Aatxes? They're from the Underworld, they don't exist in the normal Tyrian plane. Glint? Thousands of years old. White Mantle? Mursaat infusion, maybe.

The thing is, a "good" human won't ever reach past lvl 20 because there's no really good way. The Seer infusing your skin? Ow. Lift weights constantly, and you still will reach an upper bound for lifting things. Besides, who cares about level limitations? You still can beat a lvl 31 dragon. Brains > Brawn.

Logic, ack, we can't have that. I put this in the off-topic/absurd thread to be, uh hhrm, absurd! Besides if they took this and made a rebalance and made every monster lvl 20 we'd have to fight like 5 glints at once to be "balanced." The concept is just overwealmingly frightening to have 5 glints. Or suddenly the baby glints hatch and we have to fight a lvl 20 Mama Glint and her 3000 lvl Baby Glints (Always did wonder what happened to the other eggs since I only had time to bust up one).

So I say I will seek this Mursaat infusion oh blast I killed them all, I will force Glint to tell me the secret dragon ways of staying 1000 years old otherwise I will have him a charlie-dragon (since I have yet to see a horse around) drat killed already too, I will cross the rift of the underworld and demand the spirits run their power through my body (only the good heroric spirits naturally), I will wear my heavy platemail armor even when I sleep so as to build up brute strength (even though I dont think I have seen the hindges to take it off as I have been wearing it for ages already, my oh my I prolly need a bath). In the end I will be a lvl 60 uncivilized W/Mo with such powers as Devestating BO, Stupify with Babbling, and Run Away He is Possessed.
